THE INFLUENCE OF THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL (1962-1965) UPON THE RELIGIOUS LIFE OF THE CATACOMB UKRAINIAN GREEK-CATHOLICS

Abstract

The article examines the influence of the Second Vatican Council upon the catacomb
Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. The author deals both with the believers’ expectations and their attitude to the particular Council’s resolutions. Special attention is paid
to mostly negative reaction of the catacomb Greek Catholics to the Eastern liturgical reforms.
