Abstract

Questions are considered about the first stages of distribution of christianity on the
territory of Ukraine-Rus to its official christening in 988, about the role of apostle Andrey
Pervozvaniy, duchess Olga, saints Cyril and Methodius in this process. Christening of
the Kievan princes of Askol’d and Dir is reflected more detailed.
