Patrociniums of the Byzantine-Slavonic Rite Churches in Eastern Slovakia and their icons (Introductory notes)

Abstract

There are certain moments connected with the patrociniums of the Byzantine-Slavonic rite churches from the earliest ages to year of 1995 mentioned in
the article. On the base of conserved monuments (churches, icons) we elucidate the most characteristic examples of the icon painting of Eastern Slovakia of 17th-21st centuries.
