The collection shows the influence of modern Orthodoxy on Ukrainian identity. The problem of war in the foundations of the social concept of the Russian Orthodox Church is considered, the intra-Orthodox contradictions between the UOC and the OCU and their confrontation caused by diametrically opposite political interests are highlighted. Interfaith relations in Ukraine under the conditions of Russian aggression are also studied. In a historical retrospective, the influence of Russian Orthodoxy is analyzed on the example of the orientation of the Pochaiv Monastery towards Moscow in the 1720s ‒ at the beginning of the 18th century.

The role of the Church in the cultural, educational, political and nation-building processes of the development of Ukrainianism during the 17th–19th centuries is considered. The artistic features of certain sacred monuments and the cultural significance of modern religious tourism are characterized. Religiosity in the conditions of the Russian war against Ukraine, the activities of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and the Russian Orthodox Church in the realities of armed conflict are studied. It is also shown how the new religious movements in Ukraine overcome the challenges posed by the war and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The yearbook shows the role of the Greek Catholic and Orthodox clergy in the struggle for the faith and national identity of Ukrainians. The influence of the Reformation on the spiritual uplift in the Kyivan Church in the second half of the 16th -first half of the 17th century and the response of the Protestant Church to the challenges of the present are studied. Features of sacred monuments and cult buildings are considered, religious symbols in Christianity are analyzed.

The modern canonical bases of beatification and canonization in the Catholic Church are studied, the gender aspects of religion, attempts to modernize contemporary Christianity, the answers of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic Churches to the challenges of today are considered.

У збірнику розглянуто широке коло питань суспільно-історичного розвитку різних конфесій протягом ХІІІ – ХІХ ст. Авторами порушено дискусію щодо локалізації місця останнього спочинку галицько-волинського князя Данила Романовича; розглянуто релігійно-церковне життя Карпато-Дністровського регіону України; ознайомлено з благодійницькою діяльністю жіночих францисканських згромаджень Галичини середини ХІХ – початку ХХ ст.; досліджено локальну історію боротьби за віру уніатів з Голублі (Седлецького повіту); охарактеризовано постаті українських бранців московських монастирів.
Частина публікацій присвячена дослідженню радянського періоду: релігійним процесам на Поділлі у 1920-их роках; стану церкви Півдня України в умовах Голодомору 1932–1933 рр.; антирелігійній пропаганді часів пізнього сталінізму. Характеризуються рукописи баптиста-
остарбайтера А. Кучеренка та греко-католицького єпископа Івана Лятишевського.
Автори збірника порушують питання самоідентифікація релігійних спільнот України, вивчають досвід богопізнання, звертають свою увагу на кризові явища у християнстві, зокрема поширення культу споживацтва; досліджують окремі форми неорелігій.
Проаналізовано сюжети іконографії та архітектурні особливості культових споруд; охарактеризовано сакральну символіку.

“Історія релігій в Україні”. Розглядається широке коло питань суспільно-історичного розвитку різних конфесій в Україні й поза її межами. Досліджується етнологія, релігійна міфологія, історія релігійно-філософської думки, етноконфесійні проблеми, питання соціології релігії.
